A Native Call To Give And Share

Dear Friends:
We have received a number of wonderful emails and Tweets since OpenShade launched on October 19. It’s great to hear from such a supportive community of photographers. Right now, we need your help. Below are three things you can do:
If you have a personal story to share about how you use photography to give back to your community, let us know by selecting the “Apply Now” tab you see above. Selected stories will be featured right here OpenShade.
If you know any photographer who has an amazing story of giving back, nominate them by sharing their contact info and mission in the “Apply Now” section.
If you honestly realize the need to give back to your community but you don’t know where to start or how, read the selected stories that will be posted on Thanksgiving Day and spread the word.
OpenShade is about inspiring photographers to give. So make a choice. Help us build this movement, brick by brick by spreading the word and getting active in your communities. Unless of course, you’d rather wait for the future and then complain when its not as awesome as you would like it to be. Positive action is the remedy for fear.
